At the dose co., we know how the importance of relaxation. This often means taking time out of every day to unwind in little ways, whether that be on the couch with a face mask, a few minutes of quiet meditation or enjoying a glass of a certain cbd infused beverage 😉. But when we have the time, it’s great to devote an outing or a full day to really do the damn thing and fully get into relaxation mode-- it’s what summer should be all about! That’s why we're putting together a little list of unwind destinations, our city guides for letting that shit go, no matter where you are. 


Did you know Chicago is ranked the third most stressed out city in the U.S.?! Whether you’re here to visit how gorgeous this city is in the summer, or just want a little staycation, here are our best recommendations for where to unwind in the windy city.  

Reconnect with nature: 

Osaka Garden (Jackson Park) - Dating back to the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, stroll around to enjoy this lovely oasis of Japanese horticulture. 

Garfield Park Conservatory (West Side) - One of the largest conservatories in the country, with seemingly endless rooms teeming with life. Visit this summer to experience the once-in-a-lifetime bloom of a Oaxaca agave!


Peninsula Chicago (Loop) - Make sure to check out their indoor half-Olympic length pool, with floor-to-ceiling views of the Chicago skyline. 

Soho House Chicago - (Fulton Market) The luxury spa experience, but make it farmhouse chic.

Ezza Nails (Steerterville) - A modern nail salon experience. Plus, check our their iconic lockers named after inspiring women!

 Zenails (Lincoln Park) - Known for the best gel nails in Chicago. And they’re BYOB, so bring along a bottle of un\wine for the full experience.

Yoga :

The Space Between (Loop) - Music is the foundation of these candlelit classes, with carefully curated playlists accompanying their three varieties of classes titled Alive, Rooted and Undone.

Moksha Yoga Center (Bucktown) - They also host tons of events and bodywork sessions, like acupuncture and massages.
