Matcha Lattes

If you're trying to cut back on caffeine or just don't love coffee, Matcha might be your perfect morning fix. Matcha is basically green tea on steroids. It’s full of antioxidants (buh-bye toxins), and while it contains caffeine, a compound in the tea called L-theanine helps reduce cortisol levels (aka stress on your body) so you don’t experience the crash that typically follows your morning cup of coffee. Sustained energy without the jitters? We’d say that’s a win-win.

We love starting our day with this creamy green latte. Thanks to the collagen's protein and coconut oil's healthy fat, you'll be cruising all morning.

Matcha Latte

1 tsp. ceremonial grade matcha powder (we like Aiya)

1 scoop collagen peptides (we like Vital Proteins)

1 tbsp. coconut oil

1 tsp. vanilla extract

3/4 cup hot water

1/4 cup nut milk

Dash of cinnamon

 

Optional:

1 tsp adaptogen (we like maca, ashwagandha, and reishi)

15 mg CBD oil

 

Blend for 2 minutes for a frothy cup of perfection.
